Discover the localities, terroirs and winegrowers of the Wine Route!

42km long, the wine route which stretches from Schengen to Waasserbillig, is shaped in a hilly landscape in limestone rocks, ideal for viticulture. In the canton of Remich, the deep soils combine Keuperian gypsum and marl, for round and mellow wines. In the canton of Grevenmacher, the soil is composed of conchylian limestone, suitable for racy and characterful wines. Ideally oriented from south-east to south-west, the best localities are located at an altitude of 150 to 200m, benefiting from temperate climatic conditions. Find out here where our Moselle wines are born.
